Here we are: one traces, one writes and the other draws
We are Manuela, Simon and Dino, founders of FIAB Potenza ciclOstile, a social promotion association active since 2025, which puts the bicycle at the center of a social revolution and a natural philosophy of life. In addition to the urban and daily use of bicycles, ciclOstile supports and promotes the knowledge of Basilicata as a cycling destination par excellence.
This vision led to the creation of a network of regional cycle routes on low-traffic roads, which gave rise to a series of editorial products dedicated to cycling in Basilicata: we have published two printed cycling guides and a map.
THE BBT IS LIKE A CHILD
In 2022 we started dreaming a different way of cycling across Basilicata, moving from the exploration of the arteries to those of the capillaries: no longer only asphalts - deserts and beautiful - but track, trails and forgotten paths. Thus was born our second son, the Basilicata Bike Trail (BBT, for friends); which soon became part of the circuit of unsupported bike trails in Italy.
We take care of every aspect, from the tireless search for ever new tracks and paths to communication, from images to music, from suggestions to reflections, from relationships with communities to the creation of permanent friendships: the BBT has our character and evolves with us, as an expression of our passions, our visions and the beautiful things that influence our way of existing. Around us, many people love and help us: the BBT staff and community keeps on growing a great family.
